Hi All,

Does the size of business matter a lot ? Working for MNCs vs Managing family business....??
Any insight on this would be appreciated.

The answer to your question is it depends: specifically it depends on how you present the business, your involvement in it and your plans for the future. Simply working for or having a family business does not hurt or help you but how you address these critical aspects of your participation and plans do.

The biggest problem we have seen with candidates coming from family businesses is obtaining credible references. In short, you should never have a family member write your recommendation. It carries little to no weight.
