How does the online recommendation process work? [#permalink]

Lets say I submit the application right on the deadline, and register my recommenders, how many days do the recommenders have to fill out the recommendation form and submit
(E.g if R2 deadline is 4 jan, and I submit my essays and register my recommenders on 4th jan, how many days does the system give for the recommender to enter the recommendation).

Thanks! In all the schools I applied to the deadline is for ALL materials including recommendations. I registered recommenders beforehand. There should be a "Recommendations" section in the online app that explains all this.

Many schools may give you extra time, you will need to look up specifically. E.g. Booth gives one extra week. Might come in handy since I am chasing my recommenders for over a month now.
