Hi gerjapa,
It takes a certain amount of time to 'certify' that your score is correct. While that process is fairly standardized, it can take longer or shorter based on the time of year (certain times of year are 'busier', from a Testing standpoint, than others). It's quite likely that your score could be available in 1-2 weeks, but even if your score isn't available until a day or two after you 'expect' it to be available, Business School Admissions Officers are savvy people - they understand that Pearson/GMAC still has to certify the score and that process will take however long it takes. Schools aren't waiting for a 'print copy' of your report; they're waiting for online access to it so they can confirm the score that YOU report on your application. Business School Admissions Teams take weeks (and sometimes months) to pour over all of the applications that they receive, so if they think that you're a strong candidate overall, they're not going to reject you because your score isn't immediately available. As such, you really have nothing to worry about - as long as you take the Official GMAT before you send in your application, you report your Score on your application and you grant that School access to your records.
