I am planing on buying a iphone but if I go back to school next year for my MBA... I am not sure if it is affordable/worth keeping the coslty data plan during your student life.

iphone makes you have the data plan I believe. I use wifi when on campus and at home, data is helpful when you are out but depends on your needs.

yeupp .. with iphone you have to have a data plan. And thats what I am debating on .. do I really need to spend that extra $30 for data plan.... when I will be student.

i find it invaluable... you get tons of emails in school and many can be time sensitive

it should be less than $30 with a discount plan... check with your employer, although most schools will get you a discount too

Thanks ... yeah i could get it 10% cheaper.

But if it make sense to have a data plan then I should stick with my contract.
