How important is GPA for International B-Schools? [#permalink]

I'm 30 yrs old, 6 years of progressive work experience in marketing, ran my own business for 3 years, lots of EC's & GMAT score of 640 (am retaking in fall, I am aiming to score over 700). I am from Canada and am interested in studying in Europe for business.
The problem is my low GPA (just under 3.0, just over 3.0 counting my best 2 years). How much of a factor is GPA? Particularily, the schools I'm interested in are:
Amsterdam School of Business, Rotterdam, TiasNimbas, Nyenrode, London Bus School, Manchester Bus School, IMD and Cass.
If I get a better GMAT, will I stand a chance at the above schools? If not, can someone recommend any other schools I should apply to as well

I don't think GPA will be an issue considering the amount of work experience you have. A better GMAT will certainly help you at LBS and IMD. I think a 640 will be competitive at most of the other schools you have on your list, especially given that you've run your own business for 3 years.
Have you thought about IE or HEC? They're a little more established than the Dutch schools on your shortlist.
