How many business clubs, dorky clubs, and fun clubs? My school Eller doesn't really have sports clubs. I hope I can join intramural sports for the university

From what I've gathered, business clubs are for your resume and fun clubs are for friends for life.

Everyone seems to have at least 3-4 clubs on his/her resume. So be safe and join a couple even if you're just going to be a passive participant.

No sports club? Great, create one.

I am planning to start a new club at my b-school this fall : The Average Joe Business Club (popularly called the Cigar club).

After watching all sorts of special events for women, minorities, LGBT, non-profit etc etc fly by I decided on this "Average Joe Club" for guys who just want to sit back, throw back a few beers and pontificate about everything under the sun.

For the uninitiated, this is strictly tongue-in-cheek. Don't try this at whatever your school might be. On second thoughts, this might make a good Fuqua Vision video.
