How many DS and PS questions can I expect to see on the test day?(Out of 37 Quant)
All the practice tests have only about 15-16 DS questions on an average.
But while giving the GMAT Practice test 2 I encountered more than half DS.(almost 60% DS)
Can anybody who has appeared in the last few months please shed some light on this.
Its essential because we can plan our preparation accordingly.
That's not right. Traditionally you would get around 14-20 DS questions.... but I am not sure that it is super important. On my latest test i got 17 (slightly less than half). I don't think it is that critical. To get a good score you need to answer many hard questions right. If you had 3 fewer DS, I am not sure it is such a big deal.... if you are struggling with DS, figure out a strategy to deal with it. There are a few "DS-specific" questions but most are very similar to the PS.
