How many internship job applications are you submitting? [#permalink]

I'm curious. For the record, I'm at 31 so far with probably 5 or 6 more I'll likely toss in.

holy crap! 31? I did about 18 with 12 responses. Just had 4 interviews today, by the end I felt like I was
having an out of body experience while talking. Someone give me a freakin job already!

rhyme, i believe you and i are at opposite ends of the spectrum when it comes to all things b-school. we should have a tv show, along the lines of the patty duke show or perfect strangers or my two dads. what do you think?
I threw in my app for 5....2 of them pretty much on a lark. Got 4 responses. The ones who didn't let me in are turds.

I threw in about 25. I got 18 first rounds, with some firms yet to release their lists. I had 6 interviews on Monday, 3 first round and 2 second round on Tuesday, and I've received an offer from my top choice so I'm pretty much done! I'm just completing the second rounds I've already agreed to and I'm dropping the rest.

I did about 4 "I really want this job" applications, a couple more " I would not mind doing that for the summer" and a few wildcats just for fun. I guess that since my backup plan is getting involved with a startup I'm not that pressed for results from the formal recruiting process.

Congrats! Care to share what you will be up to this summer?
Also, with fewer interviews in the near future, can we expect Guide to BSchool Recruiting Part 3? (the first two were great!)

~Sam I haven't decided for sure yet where I'll be for the summer, and I don't want to post it publicly, but you can PM if you are interested. I have been thinking about part 3, and if I have time I'll try to do it this weekend. I'm in NY at the moment, so we'll see how things go the next few days. I'm glad you enjoyed them.
