101 to 200 - 50 odds
201 to 300 - 50 odds
301 to 400 - 50 odds
401 to 500 - 50 odds
and 501.

Total = 201

Total number including 101 and 502 = 502 -101+1 = 402

and since the set {101........502) starts in odd and ends in even thus the nymber off odds = number of even = 402/2 = 201

total numbers = 502-101+1 = 402


even numbers....
102.....502

=2[51 - 251]

gives us 251-51+1 evens
=201 evens

odds = total - evens = 402-201=201
