B)

Between 24 and 50 there are 12 even integers and 13 odd integers. Between 24 and 49 there are 12 even and 12 odd integers so statement 1) is insufficient

Between 25 and 50 there are 24 integers and 12 odd integers. Similarly between 26 and 51 there are 24 integers and 12 odd integers. Therefore statement 2) is sufficient

let do this using a smaller number than 12

A)
between 2 and 6 , there is one even integer, but 2 odd integers
between 3 and 7, there are two even integers, but 1 odd integer

therefore A not suff

B) once u know there an even number of integers between the numbres, half of htem have to be odd -> suff
