(8916-7410)/2=753?

between 4 and 6 there is 1 odd number... between 4 and 8 there are 2... so i assume between X and Y (X and Y both even), there are (X-Y)/2 odd numbers...

it's simple

take a set of numbers {2,3,4,5,6,7,8}
how many odd integers are there between 8 and 2? Count.
3, right? Or (8-2)/2

Absolutely the same you have to do with 7410 and 8916

Hence, the answer is 753
