How many people at adcom will go through our app? [#permalink]

Just trying to determine a Acceptance/Ding depends on how many people at the adcom.
Also would second yrs have access to the essays/recos? In some cases I'm seeing that an interview is being conducted before a app is submitted.

School by school basis.... So, it depends. If you go to the info session of the school and ask about the process, they will share with you. I think for some schools, this is also in their FAQs

most schools have at least two people read applications. Beyond that it depends on each school.
Some even involve alumni!

I think usually 2...and if they are split it goes to a 3rd. I forget which school I heard that from but I'd imagine it would be similar.

kellogg has 3 people review your application. also they have a student club that assists with admissions, so it's likely you'd have a current student reading your app. that is if i remember correctly from last week's info session...

As far as I know even Chicago GSB has students review apps.

Chicago does have students review (which I would love to do if I am lucky enough to go there).
I read somewhere that an application will not get rejected before three people review it. It may definitely be read by as many as six before they decide to accept.
