how much time would i be needing to thoroughly preparing both the verbal and quant sections before i can take the test?
i ll be studying alone.. without any coaching...

I think that depends on your aptitude and your target score. Making generalizations are not going to help you much. Without any further information it would be difficult to give you a timeline.
