Is there a standard length admission essays? I wrote about a page-page and a half, and the HTML box in my online application allows for maybe 3 times as much. I figure the admission people don't want to read a 4 page essay though, right?

First of all, don't write it in the HTML box. Write it in Word

If there is really no explicit limit (I would call and ask) than two pages double spaced is the reasonable limit. Which would mean 1 page in the FORM box (unless you found a way to double space it).

Again, it would much simplify your life if you write it in word and look for a way to "Attach" it.

Or write in word and copy and paste it into the box.

I really would be quite surprised if there were no word or page limit. (Or at least guidelines). Mine all ranged from 400 to 1200 words.

Proof read it when it is saved in there. Normally problem characters are the elongated dash (-) in word, that turns into question marks in text format. There are others as well, and make it look awful (I encounter this often on match reports for sport).

Be careful at least to make sure this doesn't happen, as it is so irritating.
