How strict is UIUC MSA on the prerequisite? [#permalink]
19 Sep 2012, 23:59
Hello, I am an international student currently living in Chicago. I plan to apply to UIUC MSA program for next year matriculation. I noticed from the program website that applicants are required to have completed one in each of following cources: finance, marketing, management, statistics, micro/macroecon.
I am sure I earned credits on statistics, micro/macroecon subject. but I was not sure with Finance, Management, and Marketing.
Especially, I didn't take marketing class. (I took communication and society class.) If I did not take marketing class, I cannot apply for the school or it is ok?
I want to know how strict UIUC MSA on the prerequisite.
I already took GMAT (710) and TOEFL (100) tests in preparation for applying to your prestigious program. My GPA is 3.7~8/4.0
Do you think that I have a chance to be accepted?
Thank you for your answer in advance.

I emailed the admissions office, and they answered "you may apply".
Do you think it means I can apply?
