What is the best way to analyse a CAT?
I just finished a MGMAT CAT and scored 500 while I'm aiming for a score of 600 (Is this possible within 3 weeks?!). How should I analyse this test, how much time do you guys suggest and, even more important when should I take a new test?
Looking forward to hear from you guys! Thanks in advance
Look for which specific sections you did the worst on. These are the sections you should start on first and spend the most relative time on.
In general, you should budget at least 1-1.5 months of solid, focused study time in order to give an honest effort.
Please reference this article on when to take the GMAT and why earlier is usually better: http://www.gmatpill.com/gmat-prep-about ... ly-better/
You may want to take the test when you have the least distractions - ideally in between jobs, shortly after graduation, etc.
Your own personal situation may vary, but I would say the key is to find a period of 4-6 weeks when you are able to focus your best. No girlfriend/boyfirend, family, or work issues.
Thanks for your quick reply.
(took me a lot of hours) but I'm still not entirely able to apply the concepts and knowledge. That's why I would like to know how to review the CAT's.
