Hi all,

I plan on doing OG 12, verbal review 2nd, then RC99. That really sums up my entire RC preparation (just doing problems). I don't feel the need to go through any guide for this section even though i own the mgmat RC. This is my strongest area in terms of the gmat, and i don't want to spend too much time on it or to start adding weird techniques that might hurt me later.

- how should i do the problems? just start from easy and go to hard, going chronologically in all 3 cases? It feels weird doing so because i always followed mgmat guides which mention problem sets for each area.
- I used powerscore for CR and they break down each problem type. Can I just assume that i don't really need to worry about strategies for each problem type in RC?

thanks

You can go chronologically if you wish, and if you finish a set, you can do them in random order and challenge yourself to do it faster.

The reality is that on the actual exam, you'll be thrown any type of question - so you need an attack strategy that can quickly switch gears without you having to pace back and forth reading and rereading question on the actual day of the exam when you're time-pressured.

Not worry about strategies for each problem type in RC? Well, usually the questions come together with a passage. Some take longer than others - detailed vs inference vs all are true EXCEPT. You don't need to have a strategy going in, it's just that if you take the exam once you'll want to make sure you have the confidence to do well on the exam.
