How to ask about the status of application? [#permalink]

Dear Linda

I submitted my application for few B schools couple of months back. I am planning to ask the ad com about the status of my application but i am little confused on how to draft the mail

Is there any standard format for such a mail or it can be a direct mail asking for the status? Please help me what should i mention in the mail.

Rahul,

All the schools post the decision dates on their web sites. Many also tell you how to check the status of your application. Before you write them, check their web sites. If you applied online, you should be able to check your online account and see your status.
