Just started on RC. Not doing very well at all in Verbal as a whole. Just getting around 70%age in SC and CR . Let me see how RC goes. Hope rhyme's strategy works for me .

Great thread and kudos to Rhyme.

Though I tried to implement his tips in couple of RCs and I still need to master the technique but yeah, it saves a lot of time especially on the ones where you have some background and are relatively interesting. However, if I apply this on the ones which are blues to me ... I get stuck.

Perhaps, I need to KEEP PRACTICNG !

this apporach seems fine, but i think it also depends on one's reading speed, right? i am a slow reader, and RC is a big problem for me...any advices?

2 Good!!!Awesome!!!!

It seems to be a gr8 way to tackle lengthy RCs(at least 3 paras) but what about shorter RCs(1 or 2 paras)
Could experts please explain how to tackle those RCs (1 or 2 paras).

Thanks rhyms. i am working through your strategy for past 1 week and i found improvement. but, the problem is, i am taking more time about 25 min for answering 8Q paragraph. do you have any strategy for fast reading

good post rhyme i am using ur method and found gradual improvement in RC .
i am doing fine in rc but i am taking more time are there any techniques to improve fast reading

Your tips are excellent but somehow are working great for easier Q's for me. The complex ones still remain an issue for me ... I would appreciate some tips on how to tackle complex questions....

Iam new to this club..regarding RC..Dont we need to oversome some of our poor reading habits..like things mentioned below..in order to improve ourselves in RC topic..i think this will form the good base..any comments welcome..
Habit: Sub-vocalization
Habit: Inefficient eye motion
Habit: Regression
Habit: Poor Concentration
