hello, thanks for all the help i have already received here ...
i'm hoping you can help me w/ this tedious issue ....

i have already looked up grammar rules, etc. and i am STILL not sure how to write the following financial figures in my application essays.

$75,000: should it be "75 thousand dollars," "$75 thousand," "$75,000," or "seventy-five thousand dollars"????$4,000,000:
should it be "4 million dollars," "$4 million," "$4,000,000," or four million dollars"????

kind of annoying question, but i'm hoping someone can help! thanks.

Not so much a matter of grammar on this one.

Personal preference:
$75,000 and$4 million. Why the lack of consistency? When you hit million, too many zeros. The other examples for $75,000 look weird. You could use$4,000,000 and be fine and still have the consistency. The other \$4 million examples look weird.
