I thought A & D were closer choice but
However much voters may agree
is not the same as
Even though thy may agree.
I pick A.

A. to maintain llism, we need "that" in before and after conjunction "and".
BCD all lack that before "and". they are ruled out.
E is not short and sweet (concise and clear).

A is left as correct.

Band E use "agreement" whereas C uses "agree" which is not the same as "may agree" used in orignial sentence. Between A and D elimnate D on account of non paralellism.... hence ans should be A

Need a clarification - if the sentence above ends at ..... beyond its means, then will E be a better choice?
