I would vote B.

the intellectual stimulation suggests, that they are aware of their cognitive faculties. The passage suggests that these people can not be made happy if those cognitive abilities are not gratified, however B says physical pleasure leads to happiness and this weakens the conclusion in the passage.

I think it is 'B'.

Only 'B' shows that many people enjoy something that is in common with animals & not something (cognitive faculties) that is superior to animals.

first of all, i dont think that its B). imo all ppl have cognitive faculties and once they are matured, they are aware of these. physical pleasure as well as intellectual stimulation involves cognitive faculties. i.e. when u exercise in the gym u should be aware of ur training method. thats why B). even if u dont agree with my example, B) is out b/c of another reason. only because ppl enjoy physical pleasure more doesnt mean that intellectual stimulation doesnt make them happy. the 3rd reason is that "enjoy" doesnt necessarily mean that somebody is happy.

E) is not good but best b/c "serious" athletes have a goal. when they reach this goal, they have a new goal, that exceeds the old goal. i.e. a sprinter who tries to beat a record. after he beat it, he sets himself a even higher goal. that means its impossible, regrading the argument, that he is happy b/c there is no chance that he reaches all goals. BUT he is happy !

as i mentioned its not good but its best !
