Friends, i have got an I-20 situation, in which i have been told by two Bschools to apply for i-20 ASAP.

I am still waiting for other three Bschools to revert to finalize the best Bschool.

Should i apply for i-20 for these Bschools and wait for the other Bschools to revert. Will it impact in my F-1 VISA process or later i can reject all other i-20 issued by these schools and apply for VISA by virtue of one i-20 issued by BSchool of my choice?

Also one more related question - if as international applicant I apply in R3, can I be denied admission because I will not be able to get visa (that is only rejection on this ground itself) ?

It used to be that the I20 would not be issues until you were actually a student and enrolled (not just an admit but actually paid the deposit and enrolled). I have a feeling it is still the same way so the schools are actually encouraging you to enroll.

A good rule is that you need you i20 at least 2 months before arriving. So that should answer your other questions. However you can ask the schools about their specific policies directly and should be able to be very open about them.

Congrats and good luck!

I might be completely wrong here but the school issues the I-20 and based on it, the department of homeland security/USCIS then issues you a visa based on that document. Its ok to get an I-20 from each school that you plan to attend and hang on to them while you wait for decisions from the schools you are waiting to hear from.
Cheers
