I am going through Kaplan Material (Premium Edition 2006) while preparing for my GMAT. In DS questions, kaplan suggests that if you are getting multiple answers from an option (either 1 or 2), you can consider the information provided in the option as Insufficient.

Yesterday i appeared for the preperatory test (GMAT CAT1) provided with Kaplan book. In one of the DS problem types which i got wrong was one where the option B was providing a solution for a variable which had four different answers.

I am confused. Please suggest. The solution provided said that it has a set of four different elements as answer.

Please post the problem, the official solution, and the official explanation so we have a better idea of what you're talking about.

you shud not take it literally. It depends on question step. For example, this question needed multiple results:

Is it possible that the question asked to see if a variable was an integer? Please post the problem to receive better responses
