I came across several people mentioning the 3/2 split among answer choices. What is the significance of it?

If you are trying to score over 40 on GMAT verbal, you will have to utilize this on test day. If you can narrow down to 2 by finding the error in the original sentence then you can shorten your time per question and have more time for RC and CR. Plus, you will get more right this way.

Are you saying that of the 5 choices we have, the 3/2 split says that the answers will always be one of the choices that are "not 3". In this case, one of AB is right but never CDE?
