I currently have the MGMAT SC book. Is there any value in buying the Powerscore SC book for extra review? I expect maybe >90% overlap, but I was wondering if there are any other people here that also contemplated on owning both.

Thanks

edit: powerscore not powerprep! lol

I have both and it helped me a lot. There is some overlap but overall I think powerscore touched on a few different topics. Powerscore goes over the basics in more detail which really helped me understand the more advanced topics in both powerscore and manhattan.

well, i bought the powerscore book and so far i'm liking the material... it's good to reinforce some concepts that we normally take for granted. surprisingly there wasn't too much overlap (so it seems, because all the examples and practice drills are so different from MGMAT's).

so far, another great SC resource!

if anybody is considering owning both books, i highly recommend so.
