I forgot which website I found this, thus I have lost the solution. Can someone please explain.

How many different ways can a five-question true-false test be answered?

If this problem is already on this page I am sorry.

You have five questions; each has two outcomes
_ _ _ _ _
2 2 2 2 2

so, 2^5=32 should be the answer
