If x and y are integers, is x divisible by 3?

1) x-y is divisible by 3.

2) x+y is divisible by 3.

C) y and x have to be multiple of 3

1. x-y = 3m
=> x = 3m +y..(a)
Not Sufficient
2. x+y = 3n
=> x = 3n - y.. (b)
Not Sufficient

Adding (a) and (b)...
2x=3(m+n)
Since 2x is divisible by 3
So x wil definitely be divisible by 3
So.. (c)
