I have gone through the Manhattan GMAT RC material and i am following their approach of 2 to 3 min for shorter passages. And 3 to 4 min for longer passages.

Some passages consists of so many details :shock:

. It is very difficult to take notes of this passages.

How to capture all those details in a short time :idea:

? How to remember all those details ?

I am also facing same problem. How much time do you take to solve a short and a long RC passage. Sometimes i feel i need the whole time of 75 mins for RC and CR only. Otherwise I get so many wrong answers. If you find some strategy kindly share . .

My correct questions on RC passages are slowly starting to improve. I don't think there is a silver-bullet here. This is probably the only section where you really have to practice a lot. And you will realize that the key is to have total immersion, and feign enthusiasm towards the passage -- I try to pictures events of the passage in my head, as I take notes. Again, this works for me, it might not work for anyone else. You will have to try different strategies and see which works out for you.
