(B) About the astronaut selection, I heard almost simultaneously

(C) I almost heard about the astronaut selection simultaneously

(D) Simultaneously, I heard about the astronaut selection

(E) I simultaneously, almost heard about the astronaut selection

A sounds correct to me.

C - changes the meaning of the sentence to 'I didn't hear about astronaut selection, but almost did'

E - same as above

B & D - can't explain, except to say that they don't sound right

ans = A

B .. the problem here is that this sentence does not have the 'FLOW' and it sort of 'breakz' the construction.. ofcourse it does give the meaning... but ....

D= the fact here is ''I heard '' first and then ''I THEN knew it was simultaneous'' so I guess it shuld be as A is...

hope that helps!

Have fun
