Re: I just wanted to know if patterns in GMAT get repeated. [#permalink]
If you are taking the GMAT, you know that the test will have four sections – Analytical Writing Assessment, Integrated Reasoning, Quantitative Assessment, and Verbal Assessment. To answer your query, conceptually these areas are so vast that the paper setters do not need to repeat the ideas or the questions. However, certain set fundamentals need to be assessed for sure in every applicant. In such cases, you 'will' witness the same concepts being tested in different ways. But, this fact just has academic value. Practically, be thoroughly ready for every section. GMAT score is very important in influencing your admission to the top B-Schools. We suggest, instead of wasting your valuable time trying to find questions that seem similar, focus on the concepts with a fresh and independent approach. Do not bank on any pattern, as that may change without notice. If you get the basics right, things will fall in place themselves. Prioritize your tasks, schedule them up, start working on the plan, and adhere to it. Seek help from guides, friends, professional consultants, and work on your weak areas, while honing your strengths. All the best!
