I know this is the GMAT Club, but has anyone submitted GRE? [#permalink]

I only applied to 3 schools: Sloan, Tuck and McCombs Dallas Part Time Program.
I was not admitted to Sloan or Tuck and have been waitlisted at McCombs.
BS Engineering - 3.3 GPA
MS Supply Chain Management - 3.85
5.5 years WE in engineering and procurement
I did not take the GMAT since all 3 schools accepted GRE scores. I took the GRE in 2009 before getting my MS and got an 800Q, 560V, 5.5writing.
I retook the GRE to get my verbal score up and got a 161Verbal, 165Quant, and 4.5writing.
If I don't get into McCombs I'll be reapplying to schools next year (that was my initial plan but my wife and I decided to apply this year for family reasons knowing I could re-apply next year).
Should I take the GMAT for my 2nd year of applications?

Completely agree with Jim. Infact I used my GRE score last year and did not make it in. I was also provided feedback by an ad com that I should take the GMAT to demonstrate my commitment to MBA.
I am reapplying this year and have already taken the GMAT. If you have a good GRE score you will certainly get a good GMAT score with planned preparation. I would strongly recommend that you take GMAT as it will open up a lot of other schools that accept just the GMAT and not GRE.

Thanks guys, if I don't get in this year i'll definitely be taking the GMAT
Any feedback on how already having an MS might help/hinder my admission into a top school?
