I recently stumbled upon two articles on the similarities between the LSAT and GMAT. Although this topic has been reviewed almost to death on the GMATClub forums, I figured that adding another perspective on it could only help. At any rate, if you're interested, here they are:

Its really hard decision to repeat OG's or to solve LSAT material.

I m under time constraint else I would have definitely solved few LSAT CR and RC sections.
Is there any guide to LSAT having list of questions that are not out of Scope of GMAT.

Good question!

If you don't have time to experiment with LSAT questions, then don't worry. It won't put you at a disadvantage. Based on your posts, you're putting a great deal of effort into verbal, so you should be fine.

But, to answer your question, I don't think that the LSAT RC questions are out of scope. Some people have a few quibbles about LSAT passages occasionally discussing legal issues, but those won't throw you off by any means. Besides, those question types are in the minority.

The LSAT LR covers a number of question types that don't appear on the GMAT, so practicing those under a limited study schedule might not be in one's interest. I can make a list based off of your question. It may take some time, though. Until then, you may find this link helpful: lsat-books-for-gmat-verbal-prep-97191.html#p749007

I m going to wind up CR/RC from OG12 and OG verbal 2 and then for a week I will practice few LSAT tests. Near the exam I will revise OG's again to sync myself with the GMAT.

List is important for only CR and I m sure it will help a lot.
It will be really hard to prepare the list while you are applying to the schools, but if that can be managed I m sure its gonna be hottest topic around.

Thanks bmillan01

Hopefully, this list is what you had in mind. I simply copied the topics from the Powerscore CR and LR Bibles. The Powerscore LR book covers all of the contents in the CR guide, as well as a few more topics, which I have also listed. As you are pressed for time, skip the LSAT-specific topics below.

Concerning LSAT RC, I wouldn't worry about those questions being out of scope. Use those questions if you have time. When it comes to the relevance between LSAT and GMAT, an RC is an RC. Except, of course, that the LSAT RC questions are harder (for the most part).

Powerscore CR: (GMAT and LSAT)
Must Be True
Main Point
Weaken
Cause And Effect Reasoning
Strengthen
Assumption
Resolve the Paradox
Method of Reasoning
Flaw in The Reasoning
Parallel Reasoning
Numbers And Percentages
Evaluate The Argument

Powerscore LR: (LSAT only)
Conditional Reasoning
Justify The Conclusion
Formal Logic
Cannot Be True
Point at issue
Principle
