I saw this problem in a web site : -

There are 6 students who are divided into three groups with 2 students in each group. Each group may select one continent to explain, total three continents ASIA, EUROPE, AFRICA.

How many kind of arrangements possible?

The answer given was 90.

Is this correct ?

i would like to know how to work out this problem ?

first we have to make 3 groups of 2 people... 6C2=15
then each group has to select a continent... 3!=6
answer: 15*6=90
