Is sqrt(n) > 100

1. sqrt(n+1) > 100
2. sqrt(n-1) > 100

A) insufficient, n could be bigger or less than 10000.
B)sufficient

B.

A is insuff because it boils down to n > 9999 and since the stem doesn’t say n is an integer, we can’t assume n is at least 10000.
B is suff because n > 10001

One more for B

Question can be restated as is n > 10,000
From Statement 1: n > 9999 - so not sufficient
From statement 2: n > 10,001 - so sufficient
