I was going thru the web to get some methods of overcoming problems like concentration and to identify whether some of my own assumptions/conclusions were in line with the experts. Here is an interesting read:

That is actually quite interesting.

Although, I'm not sure all advice necessairly applies to the GMAT. It seems to be discussing reading for learning. E.g. if you are reading a text book, don't feel you have to read all at once, can't re-read etc etc.

Whereas, clearly, there is a constraint on your reading in the GMAT – time. So while it is not 'wrong' to read more than once, or wrong to 'skip', it may very well be wrong if this strategy doesn't yield retention and success with GMAT RC.
