I was reviewing all my math concepts and found this in OG11,

I was reviewing all my math concepts and found this in OG11, page 123, chapter 4.2.5.

In the equation towards the bottom of the page, they have:

x(x^2+2x+1)+5(x-1)^2=0
x(x-1)^2+5(x-1)^2=0

Shouldn't this be:
x(x+1)^2+5(x-1)^2=0 ?

lets see (x-1)(x-1) --> x^2-2x+1 so.... ya this can be right.

I can't check the actual page though. I lent out my OG.

per your posting, yoou are correct but you missed the eq. earler to this one. there is a typo in OG in eq "x(x^2+2x+1)+5(x-1)^2=0. it should be x(x^2-2x+1)+5(x-1)^2=0
