will go with (A)
Not too sure of reasoning... Just a guess...
(C) & (E) are definitely out because they lack required preposition.
Among rest of options (A) sounds best to me.

tricky one, my answer is C

I think it is possible to use "help" without "to"

I agree with C.

A - redundant 'ongoing maintenance'

the meaning of maintain = to keep in existence or continuance, to preserve - we can assume that maintenance is ongoing

D - redundant 'maintain and continue' - same as above

B & E - don't sound right, I'm sure SC gurus can explain it better than that

yes smashing, ongoing maintenance is redundant. C is best

But "Should Help maintain ...." sound incorrect to me.

smashing grace can you explain this line

it should be "should help to maintain"

i agree that remaining choices are incorrect. what is wrong with E?
