All,
I gave my IELTS exam a couple of weeks back and ended up with a band score of 8 out of a possible 9
Here are some of the e-books I used for my preparation.

Hi someone,

Can you share with us the following points
-In listening test approx how many did you get wrong? I know its difficult to say as no detail is shared with candidate but I think one knows how many questions he get right in listening.
-What strategy did you adopt for reading? Did you go through the passage first & then answered the questions or did you read the passage along with answering the related questions?
-Did you exceed the 250 limit of long essay or you were close to that?

Please refer to the following score distribution. I got a band 9 in listening so that leaves me with a maximum of 1 wrong answer
Listening:
BAND - SCORES
1 - 1
2 - 2,3
3 - 4...9
4 - 10...16
5 - 17...24
6 - 25...31
7 - 32...36
8 - 37,38
9 - 39,40

Reading:
Band - Scores
1 - 1
2 - 2,3
3 - 4...9
4 - 10...15
5 - 16...22
6 - 23...28
7 - 29...35
8 - 36...38
9 - 39,40

I went through the passage and then looked for answers.This is a little flawed since I lost a lot of time and barely managed to finish. Hopefully I will probably get my RC technique corrected come GMAT time

I did exceed my word limit.I think my essay was around 400 words . I asked for extra papers during the exam and one guy I remember quipped if I was writing a thesis or not
