-2=<x<-1
-2<x<=-1
-1=<x<0

I am not sure about the answer but is it D? i am just logically applying the question. Please explain the answer.

Ans D

if [x] denotes largest integer less than or equal to x this means

if x = 2.5 then [x] = 2 (greatest interger condition is applicable...in fraction)
if x = 1 then [x] = 1 ( greatest and equal to condition applicalbe....in integer)

now apply this logic in reverse direction we get if [x] = -1 then x has to be greater than and equal to -1 but x cannot be = 0 becoz if it is = 0 then [x] = 0 thus

Ans is -1=<x<0...OA D

but is that x cannot be 0 , i think it can be, if x = 0 , then [x] can be 0 or -1..

x can be 0 in option E which is incorrect:)
