if -10 < k < 10 ,is k > 0 ?

(1) 1/k > 0

k cannot be 0 ; this is a rule. If you get a 0 in the denominator then the fraction is undefined. Consequently you cannot have 1/0. Moreover, 1/k > 0 then K is ]0;10]. K cannot be negative.
Statement 1 is sufficient.

(2) k^2 > 0
K could be negative or positive, we do not know. Statement 2 is insufficient.

Should be A....

1/K > 0 can only be possible if K>0.... SUFF

K^2 > 0 is possible for both K<0 and K>0.... Not SUFF
