region, which of the following can be the length of
the third side?

I. 5
II. 8
III. 11

(A) ΙI only
(B) ΙII only

(A)

The sum of two sides of a triangle must be greater than the size of the third.

3,8,X

X < (3+8) => x < 11
AND
(3+X) > 8 => x > 5

Therefore the answer is A.
