1. the number of fm employees is 60%*150= 90 <100, insuff
2. There're 100%-60%= 40% of the employees are male.
Thus,( let X be the number of employees) 60%X-40%X= 74 ----> X=370 --> 60%X= 222>100, suff

1. Company X has more than 150 employees
2. Company X has 74 more female employees than male employees

1. is insufficient. The company has a minimum of 151 employees. 60% of 151 is < 100

2. is sufficient:
(w-74)/w = 2/3
3w - 222 = 2w
w = 222

The answer is B.

Sorry, I didn't read 1. carefully :oops:

Yes, assume it's 151, 60% of 151 is 91 ( rounded off for people)
that is to say, the no of fm employee >=91 , 1. still insuff

(1) 150*6/10 = 90 or 60% of 100=60 therefore 60% of 50 is 30, so 90 F=90 insufficient

(2) F/F+74=6/10=>10F=6F+444=> 2F=444 F=222 sufficient
