a^b is integer
a^b is negative
/a^b/<=1 (absolute value <=1)

None of them seem to be correct. check and confirm please.

it's C...my reasoning: b/c you know that "b" is negative for sure....so whatever the answer will be you know that it will be 1 over whatever "a^b" will be..try any combination of numbers and you will always get an absolute value <=1

If a and b are integers, then C is correct. Otherwise, none of them.

hey rich,

if you try fractions, we dont get values

try a= -1/4, b= -4

[(-1)^-4 ]/ [(4^-4)] = 4^4 /(-1)^4 = 256 > 1 ...so C doesnt work

i guess it must be a typo in the question..

so C works only with a and b as integers
