It is C.
A -> B
B -> C
C -> D
THerefore by transitive property If A, then D (A -> D)
Its contrapositive is if not D, then not A (~D -> ~A)

huskers is saying
A -> B
B -> C
C -> D
THerefore by transitive property If A, then D (A -> D)
Its contrapositive is if not D, then not A (~D -> ~A)
---------------------------------------------------------
I don't understand this solution.
There's no connection between A and D.
And what's transivitive property?
What's the logic.
Can the 3 lines above be written as
A->B->C->D
Then it's quite obvious that A->D

It is C.
The argument says A is a subset of B, B a subset of C and so on. If you were to draw a Venn diagram, it is apparent that it shud be C.

HI Naatamai, welcome to the GMAT club! Do not worry if this one feels tough, in a few weeks time, you will think it's simple too! When I saw this question, I got a feeling I just got to post it. It's the basics of most logic CR questions. You can read more on those by reading Honghu's sitcky on logic CRs in this forum.
