If a1, a2, a3, . . . , an, . . . is a sequence such that an=2n for all n ≥ 1, is ai greater than aj ?
(1) i is odd and j is even
(2) i^2 > j^2
Please explain your answers.

(i) is insufficient.
from(ii)
we know cases like i=3 and j=2 are possible. ( ai > aj)
but cases like i=4 and j= 5 are not ( ai <aj> aj
thus answer should be C.
