If we know the ratio of employees to execs, then if we pick one out of a group, the probability will always be the same.

Try this:

If 2 employees of Company A is selected at random for a survey, what is the probability that the employee is an executive?
(1) Company A employs 462 people.
(2) The ratio of the number of employees of Company A who are executives to the number of employees of Company A who are not executives is 2:9.
