If an employee of Company A is selected at random for a survey, what is the probability that the employee is an executive?

Question: executive/total=?

(1) Company A employs 462 people. Clearly insufficient.

(2) The ratio of the number of employees of Company A who are executives to the number of employees of Company A who are not executives is 2:9 --> executive/(not executive)=2/9 --> executive/total=2/11, since {total} = {executive}+{not executive}. Sufficient.

It's B. Since a ratio of this kind gives us the probability. Bunuel works it out best.
