st 1) xOy = 2(x^2+y^2)
yOx=2(y^2+x^2)
Yes. Sufficient
st 2) 0Oy = 2 * y^2 -- this expression varies with y
yO0 = 2 * 0 = 0 .. this expression is always 0
but both expression will be 0 if y=0 and different if y!=0
not sufficient
