This post received KUDOS
I think its E
1. d<0.25 if it is 0.246, rounded to the tenth is 0.3 (0.25 rounded to hundredth)
if is it 0.236 then it is 0.2
2 h<5
again 0.246 or 0.236

1. This alone is SUFFICIENT. d rounded to the nearest tenth must be 0.2 because h must be 4 or less. 2. This alone is SUFFICIENT. d rounded to the nearest tenth must be 0.2 because h must be 4 or less.
D

D
If D<.25 then .2h6<.250 that is h cannot be greater than 5 so when rounding to tenth we will consider only h and since it is less than 5 so answer would be .2
Similarly, when h<5 ie it can be 4, 3, 2, 1 or 0 Same thing hold true here.. Ans D.

if digit h is the hundredths' digit in the decimal d=0.2h6,what is the value of d, rounded to the nearest tenth?
1) d<1/4 - d < 0.25. So d can be anything like 0.246, 0.236, 0.216, 0.226 0.206 etc etc....In any case, d rounded to the nearest tenth will always be 0.2. SUFFICIENT
2)h<5 This again confirms that d rounded to nearesr tenth can only be 0.2
Hence answer shoud be D. Please post the OA

I am always confused between these two options Quote: d<0.25 if it is 0.246, rounded to the tenth is 0.3 (0.25 rounded to hundredth) vs Quote: d<1/4 - d < 0.25. So d can be anything like 0.246, 0.236, 0.216, 0.226 0.206 etc etc....In any case, d rounded to the nearest tenth will always be 0.2. SUFFICIENT I personally go with first quote, because for me 0.246 should be 0.3. because I start from right 0.246 --> 0.25 --> 0.3 but looks like gmat has its own convention. If some one could explain this ,it will be of great help !
